Job Title: Associate Manager, Virtual Care Management (VCM)

Compensation Range:  $85,000 - $90,000 

Location: United States, Remote 

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Associate Manager of VCM is responsible for overseeing the clinical delivery of care for virtual care management services provided by the company. This includes responsibility for staff management, scheduling, and evaluation as well as for ensuring the day-to-day operation of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of new RN and care management team members as needed. 

  • Provides direct management and supervision of a team of remote RNs and other non-licensed team members. 

  • Evaluates the quality of nursing care; ensures compliance with scope of practice and licensure. 

  • Promotes team alignment with Cardiac RMS core values. 

  • Works collaboratively with staff and management on clinical policies, compliance, quality assurance and educational activities. 

  • Works collaboratively with HR/ Learning & Development on new hire orientation and training as needed. 

  • In conjunction with management, ensures customer success by following up with clients to ensure the partnership is achieving established goals. 

  • Builds strong relationships by addressing clinical issues and complaints in a timely manner

  • Collaborates with sales and marketing to promote VCM services; participates in sales calls and meetings as needed. 

  • Complies with company policies and procedures and ensures the team follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions. 

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Unrestricted compact state RN license. 

  • 5+ years of experience in nursing Remote care management (RPM, CCM, PCM) experience preferred.  

  • 1-3 years direct management experience. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable communicating in teams and formal presentation settings. 

  • Critical thinking skills to address top-level concerns and leverage all available data to determine the best path forward 

  • Strong personal and professional judgement 

  • Demonstrates a “bias toward action” 

  • Demonstrate leadership ability, experience leading teams, projects, and client implementations.  

  • Capable of working independently and demonstrates self-motivation. 

  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills

  • Understanding of all HIPAA regulations and the need to strictly adhere to them 

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Viewing monitors for long periods of time which may cause eye strain 
  • Freedom to get up and move from workspace as needed 
  • Ability to use various office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, phones
