Quality Assurance Analyst (CampSite)

Job Summary:
As a QA Analyst at CampSite, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create, execute, and maintain test plans, identify defects, and help drive the development of a robust and user-friendly product. Your attention to detail, analytical mindset, and passion for quality will be key assets in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning: Collaborate with product managers/directors, developers, and other stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and test plans for new features and enhancements.

  • Test Execution: Conduct manual and automated testing to verify functionality, performance, security, and usability of our software. Identify and document defects, and track them to resolution.

  • Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to ensure that existing functionality remains intact after new releases.

  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.

  • Defect Management: Manage the defect tracking process, including defect reporting, analysis, and communication with development teams.

  • Debugging: Assist in finding the root cause of bugs before they are handed over to the developers

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role in software quality assurance.

  •  Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in manual testing and test automation (e.g., Selenium, Katalon).

  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB or similar QA certification.

  • Knowledge of database testing and SQL.

  • Knowledge of PHP
