Drive Excellence in Global Trade Compliance at Collins Aerospace!  Be an integral part of our dynamic Global Trade (GT) team, dedicated to empowering the Mission Systems strategic business unit. Collaborate closely with diverse functional groups across the organization, championing compliant business practices in the intricate landscape of export and import regulations.

As a member of the GT team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to critical regulations such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other global mandates that shape operations across our U.S. and international sites.

This role can be worked remotely in the U.S.

What You Will Do:

  • Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export Authorizations (Licenses DSP-5, DSP-73, DOC licenses, Agreements MLAs, TAAs, Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services

  • Partner with our Global Trade Relationship Managers (GTRM) supporting a functional area by assisting in authorization audits, training users on authorization use, releasing authorizations to the business, and perform transactional audits of export and imports

  • Adhere to and comply with Standard Work Processes

  • Respond to internal customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Occasional travel to Collins Aerospace locations for meetings

What You Will Learn

  • You'll gain specialized expertise in export control and compliance, enabling you to effectively navigate regulatory requirements, facilitate international trade, and mitigate compliance risks

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

  • 1+ years experience working with legal documents, contracts or business

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience in a global trade related field

  • Knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications

  • Project management experience in a team environment

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. *Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
