Job purpose:

We are looking for a Senior Creative QA Analyst to join our team. The Senior Creative QA Analyst is responsible for conducting quality assurance testing on a wide range of creative digital assets, including responsive emails, banners, online advertisements (OLAs), rich media, landing pages, and full websites. This role ensures delivery of high-quality digital content through meticulous testing processes, supporting the creative and technical teams.


Job details: 

  • Location: 100% Remote – from Costa Rica.
  • Type of Contract: Full-time / Contactor
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Costa Rica Time Zone).
  • Language Proficiency: Spanish: Advanced / advanced English (required)
  • Availability: Immediate start required


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, etc.)
  • Conduct creative testing on digital assets such as banners, design, emails, videos, and rich media.
  • Analyze requirements and keep track of the new requirements for the project
  • Report critical issues and work with the QA Lead/Manager to resolve them
  • Prepare and update QA documentation
  • Promote a culture that is oriented towards quality and productivity
  • Milestones:
    • Has maintained positive, trust-based relationships with Offshore and Onshore team members
    • Has created a workshop and presented it to team mates
    • Has responded to conflicts with flexibility, communicating assertively and suggesting improvements
    • Has worked in creative testing projects providing prompt follow up and completion reports
    • Has the ability to assign tasks, functions, power, and authority to employees while maintaining knowledge of the progress
    • Has the ability to express and receive messages with clarity and precision verbally and nonverbally in different situational contexts


Required Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience in Creative QA analysis and digital testing.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Over 4 years of QA experience specializing in creative and rich media testing within a fast-paced creative agency environment.
  • Proven experience in creative testing, including banners, videos, and interactive content.
  • Solid experience testing rich media units and responsive emails across various platforms and devices.
  • Familiarity with executing test cases and reporting outcomes effectively.
  • Exposure to accessibility testing standards and practices.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA’s role within it.
  • Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and proactive team player with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Positive attitude, open to feedback, and adaptable in dynamic work environments.
  • Capable of independently learning and adopting new tools or technologies.
  • Solid understanding of front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop, mobile, and cross-browser testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Quality Center.
  • Experience with test case management tools.
  • Proficient in responsive design testing techniques.
  • Familiar with creating and maintaining testing progress reports.
  • Skilled in providing accurate Level of Effort (LOE) estimations.
  • Basic familiarity with web services testing.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility testing practices and tools.
