Job description

Impact Registry Helpdesk Consultant (4 –6 months contract) 

Location: UK (remote)


Gold Standard seeks an Impact Registry Helpdesk Associate for 4 to 6 months to aid the Registry Team in helping to enhance the experience for our stakeholders - from early-stage registry account inquiries to operational support. 

 

In this role you will assist with the operations of the Impact Registry, including reviewing new account applications and helping to enhance the experience for our stakeholders. 

 

The Gold Standard Impact Registry tracks the certification status of climate projects engaged in the Gold Standard certification process. It offers a comprehensive public view of their progress and provides access to essential project documentation, empowering stakeholders with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions. 


*Please note this is not an IT helpdesk role but an operational support role*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Providing operational support to the Registry Team. This will include the initial review of new Impact Registry account applications; user management; and credit issuance.    
  • Providing feedback to the relevant teams to continually enhance customer service.     
  • Work together with the Registry Team to eliminate any backlog of outstanding tickets.       
  • Any other miscellaneous tasks to ensure the smooth running of Gold Standard’s Impact Registry. 


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • A degree in environment, business, operations, management, finance or a related field is desired 
  • Problem-solving abilities: Being able to analyse issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. 
  • Time management: Efficiently managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English with strong expertise in concise and effective written and presentation communication skills. 
  • The ability to work logically, consistently and accurately while capable of handling multiple priority projects simultaneously, 
  • Experience working in an NGO or International organisation an advantage.
