Job description

This is a remote position.

40 hours a week
Mon-Fri 8 AM- 5 PM California time includes 1h unpaid break

JOB DESCRIPTION: HEALTHCARE PRACTICE PATIENT COORDINATOR

Scope:

  • 40 hours/week
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time
  • Remote position with full practice integration
  • Direct patient interaction via phone and email
  • Access to practice management systems
  • Handle confidential patient information under HIPAA guidelines



Responsibilities:

  • Answer and manage incoming patient calls
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Process and distribute pre-admission forms
  • Handle insurance pre-authorization procedures
  • Convert warm leads into scheduled appointments
  • Maintain professional communication with patients
  • Process and organize patient documentation
  • Manage patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service


Requirements


  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • MUST HAVE A WINDOWS OS COMPUTER
  • Healthcare or medical practice experience required
  • Customer service background with ability to handle escalations
  • Experience with appointment scheduling and patient management
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Sales or appointment setting experience
  • Ability to work US Pacific Time hours
