Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships within the assigned South Carolina territory. Representing the trusted Versalift and BrandFX product lines, this remote position focuses on serving utility, municipal, and commercial fleet customers through consultative selling and expert product knowledge. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with a passion for delivering value-driven solutions, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and collaborating with internal teams to support the complete sales lifecycle. This role requires travel within the region and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing organization that values innovation, safety, and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and grow a dedicated sales territory in South Carolina with our BrandFX and Versalift brands, including a pre-existing customer base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fleet departments, including utility and municipal fleets, and national accounts.
  • Provide consultative sales expertise to customers, focusing on understanding and exceeding their expectations.
  • Effectively communicate technical details of truck-mounted equipment, ensuring customers understand product features and benefits.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, customer service, and technical support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend and participate in trade shows and industry events to represent TIME Manufacturing Company and generate leads.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activity, manage customer interactions, and report on sales performance.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of consultative outside sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in B2B sales, particularly with fleet departments (experience with utility and/or municipal fleets is a plus).
  • Strong focus on exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional service.
  • Technical knowledge of truck-mounted equipment is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Ability to travel within the territory as needed, including overnight travel.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with remote team members.
