Job description

Our client is at the forefront of providing innovative staffing solutions in the engineering and technology sectors. They are currently seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) focused on Hardware Programming to join their talented team. The BDM will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of their hardware programming services in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and penetrate new opportunities for hardware programming services within targeted accounts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in prospective client organizations, focusing on expanding business and deepening engagement.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to assess client needs and tailor solutions that address their hardware programming requirements.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand technical offerings and articulate the value proposition to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand awareness in the hardware programming sector.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales within the hardware programming, embedded systems, or related technology sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge in hardware programming, FPGA, microcontrollers, or similar technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with consultative selling techniques and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a manner accessible to clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools to track sales activities and manage pipelines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and trade shows as required.
