Job description

About FutureSight

FutureSight is a venture studio that co-creates and funds world-class B2B AI software companies from Day 1. Our team of repeat founders, operators, product leaders, and investors collaborates closely with exceptional entrepreneurs, providing proven playbooks, hands-on functional expertise, and the capital necessary to transition from whiteboard to seed and beyond.

About Weli AI

Delivering personalized advice and staying proactive with every client is harder than ever. Advisors are overwhelmed by fragmented workflows, nonstop headlines, and product overload, making it difficult to stay ahead of client concerns or show up with timely, informed guidance when markets shift or life events occur.

The wealth management sector is undergoing a major demographic shift, with a historic wealth transfer underway. At the same time, there is a projected shortage of 100,000 advisors by 2034, creating a significant supply-demand imbalance.

This creates a major opportunity to reimagine advisor workflows with AI-powered solutions that improve client engagement and drive AUM growth for small and medium wealth management firms across North America.

This venture has been significantly de-risked through extensive customer validation and early market interest:

  • We have validated this opportunity through interviews with over 40 wealth managers, including independent RIAs, private wealth firms, and bank-affiliated advisors.
  • Identified strong demand for an AI Advisory Assistant that helps advisors deliver proactive, personalized financial guidance at scale, across firm sizes, geographies, and client segments.
  • Early commercial pipeline of engaged customers who’ve confirmed problem-solution fit and are advancing to pilot discussions.
What We Bring to the Table
  • Validated problem & early market pull —  You will enter a venture with a proven market need, early adopter interest, and strong momentum toward building and scaling.
  • Studio bench strength — Designers, engineers, growth marketers, and fundraising pros are embedded from Day 1.
  • Capital commitment — Initial pre-seed funding for early hires and building the MVP with potential for follow-on funding, and access to our investor and advisor network.
What You’ll Do
  • Own the thesis & roadmap – Deepen customer discovery, refine the wedge, and translate insights into a crisp GTM plan.
  • Build the product & team – Work with FutureSight’s product/engineering pod to ship V1, then hire your core team.
  • Run early commercial pilots – Land lighthouse customers, iterate pricing/positioning, and prove retention + expansion impact.
  • Raise external capital – Lead the next round with our support, telling a data-backed growth story.
  • Operate as CEO – Set culture, own P&L, report to the Board, and scale the venture.

Requirements

You Bring
  • Founder-level drive — You’ve built (or been early at) a venture-backed SaaS company and love zero-to-one chaos.
  • GTM chops — Proven success in customer success, revenue operations, or enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Fundraising fluency — Able to craft investor narratives and close capital.
  • People leadership — Magnet for top talent; coach and culture carrier.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Prior work with WealthTech, Wealth Management, or other high compliance industries.
  • Exposure to LLMs, agents, or predictive analytics.
  • Network in B2B SaaS (Series A–C) Fintech communities and investors.

Benefits

What You Can Expect
  • Significant equity (founder-level ownership)
  • Hands-on venture studio support in product, design, growth, talent, finance, and fundraising.
