Job Description:
 

An Identity and Access Management Engineer will require a blend of traditional IT infrastructure knowledge and experience; in addition to skill sets that focus on Okta administration supporting and optimizing Okta to ensure the availability of authentication and authorization.  This position will work with internal and external departments and technology owners in order to execute system changes and implement enhancements to system functionality and security.  The position is responsible for Tier 2/3 technical support for incidents, requests, integrating applications, and maintaining systems.  A successful candidate will be a creative thinker, able to work both with a team and independently on projects, and a disciplined engineer, relying on both to make good decisions and qualified judgments.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Fulfill user security access requests
  • Reviews Information security permissions assigned to individuals and groups to ensure appropriateness
  • Respond to customer requests for user activity information
  • Responds to information requests in support of internal and external audit requests
  • Maintains current knowledge on evolving systems
  • Provides cross functional support to project teams across all areas.
  • Manage team and individual work queues
  • Performs duties under direct supervision of the IAM Director

Requirements

  • Active Directory experience (1+ years)
  • IDaaS platform management (2+ years)
  • Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computers Science, or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Knowledge of Okta workforce and external customer concepts
  • Experience with SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC single sign-on
  • Experience enabling SSO for web and mobile applications
  • Experience Multi factor Authentication (MFA) implementation and configuration
  • Solid understanding of protocols, services, and traffic flows for authentication
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technology such as Server, AD, DNS, and Office 365/Exchange
  • Skilled in Active Directory concepts, including users, security groups, policies
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are required

  • Knowledge of SailPoint
  • Knowledge of CyberArk
  • License/Certification: OKTA Certified Engineer
  • Five (5) years of IT support experience
