Overview
The Sales Operations Manager for the Home Depot team is responsible for all aspects of implementing and planning projects for the Home Depot stores. This person is the primary contact for dealing with the Home Depot MET service team and gives them specific direction on all projects. The primary goal of this role is to insure timely and accurate execution of all projects. This requires this individual to be interact with the internal and external resources needed to make sure these project executed. In addition this person supervises the POG analyst position.
Responsibilities
Coordinate all projects with Home Depot MET project team
Develop schedule and timeline for each project incorporating all details POP (Point of Purchase), shipping, displays, product at store, etc.)
Specific instructions for each version of project (varies by bay depth, width, height, assortment)
Check mobile mapping and current POGs ( Planograms) to understand differences of set requirements in each store Specific step by step instructions for project details
Plan and execute Proof of Concept sets
Insure POP and product is on track for on time arrival to store
Insure correct SKU maintenance is communicated to team analyst and proper maintenance is submitted to customer in timely, correct manner.
Make sure marketing is on schedule with POP.
Track completion. Work with stores to resolve project issues. Track completion and follow up with stores that are incomplete
Work with National Account Managers (NAMs) on operational issues and projects.
Showroom sets & IC sets
Special Projects and Training.
Work closely with the MET team to resolve all everyday and project related issue that come up on a regular basis
Main team contact for interaction with our field merchandising team
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Familiarity with retail channels and store environments.
Experience working in Home Depot and/or Lowe’s is a plus.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Ability to travel locally up to 20%.
Hiring Range
The hiring range for this Atlanta, GA based position is $70,000- $84,000 annually. (Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Short Term Incentive plan.
