Job Description

Job Title: Associate Key Account Manager

Location: Vietnam

About the role:

Vaccine Business Unit (VBU) at Takeda Vietnam carry the mission of protecting Vietnamese people against dengue fever, a disease which remains a high burden to healthcare system globally as well as in the country.

Key Account Manager- Public & General Customers will play a critical role in implementing the defined strategy of Vaccine BU towards a sustainable growth of Vietnam from commercial perspective and with a focus on key accounts.

How you will contribute:

1.         Communication Bridge:

  • Acting as the primary point key contact for key accounts, sharing and tight cooperation in product deployment to the market. This includes product knowledge and information training, marketing, HCP engagement, etc.

2.         Customer Management:

  • Identify key stakeholders to engage, work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for key accounts that will be aligned with overall Takeda Vaccine business and brand strategy.

  • Complete key account’s profile and update any changes of these key accounts in charge.

  • Monitor the output situation and proactively build actions plan to achieve business performance of key accounts. Additionally, propose adjustments target in the implementation area based on the actual circumstances.

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and partners, understanding their unique needs and delivering tailored solutions with excellence.

  • Work closely with the other peers in Field force, marketing and medical to ensure One-Takeda image and One voice to KOLs and HCPs across channels nationwide.

  • Stay abreast of market information and market trend (including updated news on regulation related to our business, customer insights, market insights, performance of territory and keep track in-arm data of our product, etc.) and provide on-time feedback and inputs to RSM, Marketing and Medical team that contribute to brand planning, TAP and impactful scientific engagement with HCPs.

  • Manage assigned project related to key accounts.

3.         Commercial Performance Excellence

  • Execute excellently commercial engagement activities as per TAP (group product presentation, promotional call (F2F and F2F equivalent), activities at symposium such as stationing booth, providing disease awareness leaflet to vaccination centers, send Rep trigger email, etc.)

  • Provide HCPs and decision makers of hospital/ vaccination centers with on time and accurate data and information about product of Takeda and objection handling.

  • Coordinate efficiently with internal cross functions to provide on time and accurate information to customer’ queries about product data and evidence, supply and demand, scientific engagement activities from Marketing, Medical and Commercial team and PV related matters.

  • Ensure aligning his/her activities at assigned key accounts with the Vaccine BU’s objectives, marketing plans.

  • Provide NCM and RSM with accurate forecasting, data tracking, in-arm data.

  • Collect e-consent of HCPs for omnichannel engagement activities

  • Support tender management.

  • Ensure zero % of non-compliance for all activities and materials in execution.

What you bring to Takeda:

Essential:

  • Mandatory to hold a university or college degree in medicine or pharmacy

  • Compliance mind-set is a must

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Vietnamese.

Desired:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry as KAM/KAE.

  • Experience in vaccine, regardless of role and responsibilities

  • Good command of English (verbal, reading and writing)

  • Internal stakeholders: Vaccine medical, Vaccine marketing, and other peers in Vaccine Team; VN Ethnic and Compliance Officer, Business Operation (Commercial Excellence, Training); PV; Human Resource.

  • External stakeholders: Management/ procurement/ tender/ pharmacy department, KOL, prescribers at Hospital/ Institute/ CDC/ public and private vaccination centers

Other Job Requirements

  • Travelling time: approximately up to 70% per month in the first 6 months and up to 85% in subsequent months (on average of 18 to 19 days on field a month)
