Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT), a wholly owned subsidiary of RTX, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior FP&A Specialist. Acquired in 2020, BCT is an exciting and growing business within the Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). With a forecasted compounding annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20%+, BCT is one of the fastest growing areas within the APS portfolio.
In this role, the FP&A Specialist will support the organization through various weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual routines including the following: Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), Investment Planning, Monthly Operation Reviews, Monthly Forecast Reviews, and Balance Sheet Reviews.
This position is in a fast paced, dynamic, and challenging environment with an emphasis on skills in forecasting, large data analysis, and leadership communication. You will have the opportunity to work with many levels of management (program, SBU, functional, and executive) and will be challenged to develop new and value-added reports & analysis on an ad-hoc basis. The position requires that the candidate be self-motivated with a desire for data analysis. Strong communication skills are necessary to coordinate financial data and inputs across multiple sites and multiple stakeholders..

What You Will Do
- Manage financial lifecycle of BCT's Capital Assets, including all internal reporting.
- Support forecasting and reporting of financial metrics – Short Range Outlooks (SRO), Monthly Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP).
- Maintain FP&A master data in SAP (APEX) and Rplan to facilitate financial reporting; firm and non-firm project planning attributes; element of cost planning elements and rate table maintenance.
- Support fiscal month-end reporting; version copies, system locks, booking entries, data reconciliations.
- Working with PMO, functions, and Orders to Cash for all aspects of program cash flow including forecasting, billing types, delivery, and collection cycles.
- Participate in special projects and key business initiatives focused on continuous improvement and business transformation.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic.
- Typically requires 2 years professional Finance/Accounting work experience; OR an Advanced degree.
- Experience within a Financial Planning, Program Controls, Accounting and/or Finance Support Functions position.
- Experience working with Raytheon Finance Tools (i.e. Rplan, SAP APEX/PRISM, BW/Analysis for Office, etc.).
- U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems.

- Experience preparing presentation packages for executive level review.

- Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
