The role:
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test with at least five-years of recent experience in similar positions working with automated testing.
Responsibilities:
● Design and manage the Test & Automation Framework, providing guidance, best practices, and mentoring.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements, priorities, and deliverables aligning to program roadmap and timelines.
● Coordinate with development and other testing teams to understand test automation design, implementation, and execution details.
● Ensure the use of appropriate testing methodologies and tools.
● Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts.
● Monitor defects, ensuring they are properly reported, tracked, and resolved.
● Provide regular progress reports and metrics to project stakeholders.
● Work as part of an Agile Team.
Requirements:
● 5+ years of experience in QA Automation.
● Recent experience with Playwright & Typescript.
● Other test management tools such as Selenium, Appium, PyTest, etc.
● In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, automated testing tools, and best practices.
● Familiarity with different types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, automation, and security testing.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Diligent and outstanding organizational skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● English Level: Fluency (mandatory).
● Reside in City of Buenos Aires or nearby.
Nice to have:
● Experience with Python / Ruby on Rails / React.
