Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated D365 Business Central Technical Consultant/Developer to design, develop, implement, and support customizations and integrations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in AL language development, API integration, and extensions, along with a solid understanding of functional processes in ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom extensions and modifications in D365 Business Central using AL language.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical analysis, and solution design alongside functional consultants and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Business Central and other systems (e.g., CRM, eCommerce, third-party applications).
  • Optimize performance of custom code and ensure adherence to Microsoft development best practices.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshoot technical issues in existing implementations.
  • Support system upgrades and migrations, ensuring custom code compatibility and data integrity.
  • Prepare technical documentation and assist in end-user training as needed.
  • Provide post-implementation support and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
  • Proficiency in AL development language.
  • Familiarity with C/AL (legacy systems) and experience with code migration to AL.
  • Experience with APIs, OData, web services, and integration frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of core business processes such as finance, inventory, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
