Position Overview
The Clinical Project Manager (PM) II is responsible for creating and maintaining clinical study and clinical evaluation timelines, budgets, and resource needs. The PM is responsible for gaining internal and cross-functional alignment on project strategies, meeting project goals and ensuring that appropriate resources are identified and allocated. Responsible for ensuring the timely development and successful implementation of best practices throughout the clinical project lifecycle.

Essential Job Functions

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies including scope management, resource management, schedule management, stakeholder management and communication, budget management, and risk management.

  • Experience organizing and presenting key project metrics, progress, risks, and dashboards for Project Reviews.

  • Establishment, organization, facilitation, and effective follow-up for internal and cross-functional team meetings.

  • Strengths in relationship building through technical know-how; able to lead subject matter experts (SMEs) through influence & credibility.

  • Capable of performing under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative and constructive working relationship with colleagues is essential.

  • Strong presentation capabilities including ability to develop and deliver formal communications.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 2+ years of project management experience

  • Experience in medical device projects working with cross functional teams, in addition to a general knowledge of clinical trial lifecycle to support a business.

  • Able to organize across multiple initiatives and integrate work streams into an integrated plan

  • Software skills: Excel, MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook and Smartsheet

  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills.

  • Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements

  • Proficient with verbal and written communication skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is US: $74,000 - $119,600 / Bay Area: $86,000 - $138,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.

  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
