Job description

You will be helping them to anticipate and answer questions about Pfizer products and develop their knowledge to highlight their benefits. In this role, you will have the critical job of helping our front line understand and communicate our pro-innovation and pro-patient policies to make our products available to as many patients and providers as possible.

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead complex projects, managing plans to achieve objectives.
  • Support Pfizer's sales representatives and channel partners by developing, planning, and conducting training on selling techniques for the organization's products and services.
  • Create and deliver training programs that emphasize sales techniques, product information, group referencing, and role play, collaborating with product managers and marketing teams.
  • Utilize project management experience to review project statuses and budgets, manage schedules, prepare status reports, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
  • Work with local teams to design and deliver commercial training and development programs in line with global and regional strategies for all Business Units.
  • Design and manage brand skills, systems, and tools training programs, securing and coordinating local subject matter experts and content developers.
  • Represent your division on the global Learning & Development steering committee, advising the business on the impact of delivered programs and agreeing on sustainability plans.
  • Follow change management processes for routine changes, monitoring, collating, analyzing, and reporting all relevant training performance, completion, and compliance metrics.
  • Support audits and inspections by being the point of contact, synthesizing key reports and metrics related to training, and providing response documents strategically and with high quality.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • BA/BS with 6+ years of experience or MBA/MS with 5+ years of experience or PhD/JD with 1+ year of experience or MD/DVM with any years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of training technology and Learning Management Systems
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • A Master's degree coupled with relevant pharmaceutical experience
  • Field experience with Cardiovascular, Migraine, and/or Antiviral therapeutic area(s)
  • Ability to lead effectively within a matrixed environment
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs
  • Ability to influence and drive teams to achieve targets
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
