Our opportunity: 

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and collaborative Director of Content Strategy and Messaging to lead the development of our brand narrative and go-to-market content. This role is pivotal in defining how we communicate our value proposition across audiences and channels. You will drive the messaging architecture that supports our brand, fuels demand generation, and empowers internal teams to deliver consistent and impactful communications. 

The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in brand and product messaging with hands-on experience in content strategy, content operations, and campaign execution. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to align storytelling with business goals and manage a team of content professionals focused on delivering compelling, consistent, and differentiated narratives. 

 

Who you’ll report to: 

This role reports to our VP, Brand and Digital Marketing 

 

Location: 

Remote role - ability to work within any U.S time zone 

 

You will make an impact by being responsible for: 

  • Messaging Architecture:  Develop and maintain a comprehensive messaging framework that reflects our brand positioning, product differentiation, and market vision across all key audiences and personas 
  • Content Strategy Leadership:  Define and execute an end-to-end content strategy that supports marketing, sales, customer success, and product initiatives 
  • Campaign Messaging & Storytelling:  Lead the creation of high-impact messaging for integrated marketing campaigns that resonate across digital, field, and partner channels 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:  Work closely with creative, product marketing, revenue, and field marketing teams to craft cohesive narratives and align messaging across touchpoints 
  • Content Governance & Editorial Operations:  Oversee content development workflows, manage editorial calendars, and implement governance frameworks that ensure consistency in tone, voice, and quality 
  • Team Leadership & Development:  Build and manage a virtual team of content strategists, editors, and writers. Mentor team members and drive operational excellence, creativity, and strategic alignment 

You will be a great fit if you have: 

  • 12+ years of experience in content strategy, brand messaging, or product marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role 
  • Proven success developing and scaling messaging frameworks in B2B or SaaS companies 
  • Expertise in translating complex ideas into clear, concise, and compelling messaging 
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and multi-channel content delivery 
  • Experience managing editorial workflows, tools, and governance processes 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for brand voice and narrative consistency

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is 195,000 – $210,000 and outside of those locations is $185,000$200,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
