Job description

Flexing It is a freelance consulting marketplace that connects freelancers and independent consultants with organisations seeking independent talent.


Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a leading multinational automotive manufacturing company, is looking for a Consultant to help think through and develop a roadmap for how the HR function can use AI and machine learning (ML) technologies across the HR function. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to reduce manual HR workload, design and deploy intelligent AI agents, and advise on team planning, resource allocation, and capability improvements within the HR domain.


This is a strategic role requiring a blend of technical expertise in AI/ML, process optimization acumen, and a deep understanding of HR operations. The consultant is also expected to oversee the development and training of the new AI agents identified and support the organisation in getting these adopted.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Share perspectives on current trends in HR tech, generative AI, and intelligent automation within the people function, and recommend innovative solutions accordingly.
  • Identify high-impact use cases to replace or automate manual HR processes using custom AI agents and ML models.
  • Work with stakeholders to assess existing workflows and recommend AI-based enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of ML bots, AI assistants, and automation tools across HR workflows.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and data teams to ensure successful integration and adoption of AI tools

Skills Required

  • 12 to 15 years of overall experience, with demonstrated impact in projects involving AI Strategy and implementation of GenAI technologies
  • Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and AI automation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and implement AI solutions within the HR domain.
  • Familiarity with enterprise HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
  • Experience in process automation, AI agent design, or building intelligent bots.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
