Role And Responsibilities
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll design, deploy, and optimize cloud environments, working closely with developers to ensure seamless operations. Your work will directly impact system efficiency and reliability. You’ll:
Build and manage cloud systems on Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and load balancers.
Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud environments.
Collaborate with your team to enhance system performance and cost-efficiency.
Monitor cloud systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Automate deployments and maintenance using infrastructure-as-code and scripting.
Job Requirements
Skills
To excel as an Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll bring technical skills and a team-oriented mindset. Here’s what you need:
3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, security).
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
Solid scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a small team.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
