Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Lead Restaurant, Food Service & Hospitality auditing and scheduling services within EMEA, ensuring delivery of operational & financial KPIs in line with the annual operating plan
  • Direct and manage audit strategy to ensure high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and cost optimisation, while selecting, training, and developing a qualified management team to oversee audits
  • Manage full-time, contract, and ASP audit resources, ensuring integrity through onboarding, training, and offboarding, and optimising audit delivery utilisation to achieve 80% for full-time auditors
  • Create and maintain annual operating plans and budgets, establishing and leading scheduling resources for OTIF delivery of services
  • Utilise audit delivery team to identify new customer needs and manage forecasts and annual budgets
  • Coordinate and schedule audits to meet service delivery KPIs, ensuring adequate resources to meet client expectations
  • Support new business acquisition through sales activity leadership, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
  • Operate within company authorisation levels and health & safety procedures, with a flexible approach to working across time zones and international travel
  • Oversee a diverse team, including direct and indirect reports

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in Food Industry or relevant allied sector
  • In depth practical knowledge of food safety in UK/Europe and the auditing compliance requirements
  • Previous auditing experience
  • Successful & Sustained experience in operational leadership
  • Fluent in English with excellent written oral command of the language
  • Keen eye for detail and problem solving
  • Ability to motivate & influence peers
  • Working Audit requirement knowledge of Food Safety Practices and Quality Schemes (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong Financial and Commercial Acumen (advantageous but not essential)
  • Used to working in a matrix organisation with high levels of collaboration (advantageous but not essential)
  • Within a commutable distance of an NSF office (advantageous but not essential)
