Compensation Analyst III
Shift: Midshift – 5pm to 2am
Work Set-Up: Indeifnite WAH
PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for evaluation, development, and implementation of compensation administration including base pay analysis, variable pay design and administration as well as global pay. Responsibilities will be a combination of day-to-day operations as well as project work. Activities may include competitive market analysis, salary surveys participation, titling review and job architecture, incentive plan design, base and incentive pay administration, and participation in performance merit review process.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Job Duties:
· Key player in the integration of compensation structures, processes, and policies as it relates to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic or high-profile projects.
· Responsible for proactively identifying gap areas and working with management regarding policy and procedure changes or additions as well as revising and assisting with communication.
· Administer assigned compensation programs, such as base and incentive pay, evaluating salary changes for conformance to company policy, and the performance merit review process.
· Support and partner with global Employee Experience teams to analyze compensation practices and needs outside of North America as well as make recommendations to Compensation Management regarding practices.
· Work with Compensation Management to develop and maintain global Labor Cost Calculators by using available resources and partnering with other corporate Employee Experience areas.
· Evaluate and catalog all variable pay programs, assist with plan design and documentation as well as internal controls for payout process.
· Analyze current trends regarding pay practices as well as current incentive plans in order to evaluate effectiveness of pay practices.
· Identify appropriate survey sources and lead participation and methodology reviews.
· Provide analytical support for compensation projects using research and data analysis skills and ability to navigate through multiple sources/formats of data.
· Respond to new position requests by partnering with recruiting and Employee Experience Business Partners to define need and evaluate context within existing job families in order to develop job description and slot into compensation structure.
· Work with compensation team to evaluate all jobs and recommend appropriate assignment of job architecture and salary grade including incumbent analysis.
· Maintain and update compensation tools, systems, or processes used to administer compensation programs such as merit increases, bonus administration, or job descriptions and evaluations.
· Develop compensation-related communication materials including presentations, policies, procedures, and guidelines
· Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.
· Perform other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma or GED - Required
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience – Required
EXPERIENCE
Required experience: 5 - 7 years - Five or more years of related Compensation experience required. Experience with salary surveys, market analysis, job evaluation, base and incentive pay structures and administration required. Specific call center compensation experience strongly preferred
