About the Role

The Learning and Development Associate will have the opportunity to support and execute on the training and onboarding plans and solutions for the rapidly growing national Admissions team at Charlie Health. This position will ensure the timely, thorough, and consistent onboarding of all of our admissions and intake team new hires with a goal to have new employees onboarded and in the field as effectively and efficiently as possible.

This position will also support the ongoing staff development needs of the admissions team including helping lead and identify best practices training, clinical overview training, Salesforce Trainings, and other related curricula. This position will report to and work closely with the Senior Director of Admissions and Admissions Manager team to identify and respond to knowledge gaps, marketplace objections, and challenges to optimize the admissions team and remove barriers to success. This position will also support in conducting training for other internal departments on the roles and needs of the admissions team to ensure cross-functional success

Responsibilities
  • Lead engaging, high-impact virtual training sessions for new hires across the Care Delivery Department, including Admissions, Care Experience, and Clinical Admissions, ensuring alignment with role-specific workflows and expectations
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine asynchronous onboarding materials (e.g., e-learning modules, job aids, knowledge bases) that support scalable, effective learning
  • Strategically evaluate and improve onboarding programs through data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure onboarding content reflects current best practices, business needs, and departmental priorities
  • Maintain and enhance onboarding documentation, including training manuals and internal resources, to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Support long-term learning initiatives by identifying skill gaps and contributing to ongoing training programs for existing team members
  • Work with the Sr Director of Admissions, Director of Outreach Training, Onboarding & Development, Care Experience, Business Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure strategies and tactics support business, growth, and mission across departments
  • Act as a Salesforce super user, providing training, support, and consultation for new and tenured teammates
  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing, mission-aligned team capable of rapidly and effectively connecting clients to care
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development, training, or enablement—preferably supporting sales, customer-facing, or fast-paced operational teams
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging live and asynchronous training experiences, including slide decks, e-learning modules, and job aids
  • Strong facilitation skills with comfort leading virtual training sessions and workshops for diverse learner audiences
  • Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a mission-driven organization is a plus
  • Highly proficient in Salesforce, Zoom, and Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets); LMS experience is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Organizational Development, Communications) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Native-equivalent fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-moving environment

The total target base compensation for this role will be between $62,000 and $80,000 per year at the commencement of employment. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $62,000 and $88,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
