Senior Front End Engineer

Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the Lead Principal Engineer, Digital Consumer Experience, we are seeking a versatile Senior Front End Engineer with deep expertise in Shopify, React, and eCommerce. This role will play a key role in shaping and delivering world-class, customer-facing experiences on a global scale. The ideal candidate will help execute MANSCAPED®’s Digital Technology Roadmap, driving enhancements across our Shopify ecosystem while delivering seamless, high-impact digital experiences. This role will collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for optimization, elevate our technical processes, and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain customer-facing eCommerce experiences that are visually stunning, performant, and user-centric 
• Create and present architecture diagrams that clearly communicate technical direction and system design for both new features and broader platform initiatives 
• Champion accessibility and performance best practices across all user experiences 
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that meets both technical standards and business objectives 
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability 
• Support and mentor fellow engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing to foster a culture of technical excellence 
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience writing production-grade code, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability 
• Demonstrated success in delivering frontend applications at scale, especially in global or high-traffic environments 
• Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React 
• Experience utilizing frontend deployment platforms like Netlify for hosting and CI/CD 
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design principles 
• Proven experience working with APIs and integrating with complex backend services 
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript with a commitment to writing clean and reliable code 
• Experience with automated testing tools such as React Testing Library to ensure high code quality and robustness 
• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with great attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement 
• Excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical ideas clearly to both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders
