The Role

We’re hiring a Solutions Consultant to partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales journey. You’ll act as the functional expert on Higharc’s platform—leading discovery, shaping the vision of success, and delivering tailored demos that resonate with both executives and operators.

You’ll operate primarily in pre-sales (80%), with selective involvement in post-sales engagements to support continuity, refine messaging, or capture feedback. This is a strategic, customer-facing role for someone who thrives on matching real-world workflows to cutting-edge software and selling with insight.

What You’ll Do
Sales Leadership (Core Focus)
  • Lead discovery sessions to uncover current-state workflows, pain points, and priorities across Design, Sales, Purchasing, and Estimating.

  • Shape the solution strategy in partnership with AEs—guiding prospects toward a future-state vision powered by Higharc.

  • Deliver tailored, high-impact platform demos and proof-of-concepts to build confidence and urgency.

  • Build ROI narratives, business cases, and playbacks that quantify impact and align internal stakeholders.

  • Champion the Challenger sales approach—teaching new perspectives, tailoring for relevance, and taking control of the sales process.

  • Inform messaging, objections, and competitive positioning through field insight and feedback loops.

Post-Sales Engagement (As Needed)
  • Support post-sale discovery, implementation & onboarding, or training efforts for strategic accounts or continuity of relationship.

  • Feedback learnings from onboarding and adoption to refine pre-sales narratives and objection handling.

About You

You’re a sharp communicator, workflow translator, and platform evangelist. You love diving into customer operations, identifying opportunity gaps, and crafting persuasive, insight-led solutions that move deals forward.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years in a consultative sales, presales, or solutioning role (e.g., Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Strategic Sales). Deep homebuilding Operations experience is valued and can replace consultative sales experience if the other criteria are met.

  • Industry experience in homebuilding, construction tech, or proptech.

  • Deep understanding of one or more functional areas: Estimating, Design, Sales, or Purchasing.

  • Proven ability to shape solution strategy and influence buying decisions in complex sales cycles.

  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for execs and day-to-day users alike.

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like Challenger, MEDDIC, or similar.

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools is a plus.

  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
