This internship works directly with the Chemistries and Supplies Division Inside Sales Team. This Division (CSD) of Agilent handles the consumables business within our Laboratory Solutions Unit, supporting customers that use chromatography and/or spectroscopy instrumentation. CSD Inside Sales focuses on customers within the US and Canada that work within food/beverage, environmental, forensics, academic, life science, government, pharma, energy/chemicals, materials, and clinical diagnosis laboratories.

Under the direction of the Team Lead, the intern will be participating in customer calling/marketing campaigns, customer contact and service activities such as literature distribution and quoting. A heavy emphasis will be on outbound calling in support of specific AFO NA sales territories (Americas Field Operations North America). Application of function specific sophomore or junior year coursework. Through focused hands-on projects, gain and apply knowledge about Agilent's industry, infrastructure and products.

This is a paid internship with flexible part time hours, with the opportunity to work remotely.

Qualifications
  • Completion of sophomore or junior year at an accredited 4-year university.

  • Seeking a major in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Material Sciences, or similar STEM field.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in computer technology, and willingness to cold-call customers routinely

  • Self-motivation with attention to detail and superb organization skills

  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills

  • Keen to learn and work well in a team while also accountable to independent tasks

The intern pay rate for this position is $30.69 - $32.61/hour plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is 
determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. During the hiring process, a recruiter can share more about the specific pay range 
for a preferred location. 
 

Additional Details
