Position Overview:

Vital Virtuals LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Receptionist (with Tebra Experience). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a remote setting. As a Remote Assistant for this office, your responsibilities are listed below:

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls and respond to voicemail messages with empathy and professionalism

Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments for individuals and couples therapy

Verify insurance benefits for mental health services and gather necessary authorizations

Manage therapist calendars and communicate appointment updates efficiently

Coordinate intake paperwork and guide new patients through the onboarding process

Handle patient inquiries regarding services, billing, and availability

Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

Communicate with therapists and clients via email, phone, and secure messaging platforms

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience with TEBRA IS MUST

Minimum 1-2 Year Of Experience As a Medical Receptionist,

Strong understanding of behavioral therapy terminology and client care workflows

Familiarity with mental health insurance verification and billing processes

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, compassionate tone

Proficient with EMR systems, Google Workspace, and scheduling software

Able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional home office setup

Benefits:

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Hourly Comp: $5/Hr for first 3 months and $6/Hr afterwards

Time Zone: PST (Pacific Time Zone)

Full Time: 35+ Hr/wk

Technical Requirements:

Operating System: Windows 10 Pro at 32/64-bit - *Genuine CPU: Intel Core i5 8th gen and above or AMD equivalent

Memory: at least 8GB RAM

Power Backup (Power Pack): Its RECOMMENDED to have a gasoline powered Generator able to support laptop for at least 4 hours in case of power outage

Internet subscription/speed: At least 50 Mbps (DSL/Fiber only); LTE connection not accepted

Headset w/ mic (Recommended: Plantronics Audio 628 Stereo USB Headset)

Webcam: HD 720p/1080p (Recommended: A4Tech PK-910H)

External monitor screen: 17,19 or 22 inch in size
