Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux system administration, automation tools, cloud services (particularly AWS), and scripting.
This role will support the infrastructure across a large-scale environment, including support for approximately 35 ships.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Linux systems including RHEL 6/7/8/9, Amazon Linux 2, Ubuntu, and CentOS.
Manage Red Hat Satellite server and capsule infrastructure.
Automate system administration tasks using Ansible (preferably Ansible Automation Platform).
Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, Terraform, or YAML.
Administer AWS services, specifically EC2, AMI, EBS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
Handle file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTP, FTPS, SCP, CIFS, SMB, NFS).
Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or VMware Cloud (VMC).
Work with web servers and application servers (HTTPD, Tomcat, NGINX).
Utilize version control and code management tools like Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
Use documentation and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
