Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Post ICT Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a proven track record of teaching at the post-secondary level. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons, developing curriculum, and preparing students for success in the digital world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design, implement, and assess ICT curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners, aligning with current technological trends and educational standards.
  • Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and active student participation.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring students remain engaged and respectful.
  • Assessment: Create and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Technology Integration: Incorporate various digital tools and platforms into lessons to enhance learning experiences and provide students with practical ICT skills.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ICT education. Participate in professional development opportunities and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Student Support: Provide academic support to students, including extra help sessions, mentorship, and guidance on ICT-related projects and career pathways.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other faculty members, administrators, and IT staff to ensure the integration of technology across the curriculum.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all ICT teaching practices comply with institutional policies, national standards, and data protection regulations.
