Quality Assurance Lead

At Hotel Manager, we are building next-gen infrastructure for hotels to optimise operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Our products span F&B, reservations, integrations and more. We are looking for a QA Lead to lead our quality assurance efforts, ensuring high standards across our platforms.

As the QA Lead, you will take ownership of quality assurance for all our products and platforms. You will lead a team of QA engineers, establish testing strategies, implement automation frameworks, and ensure high-quality deliverables. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless QA processes and reduce risks in production.

• Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
• Plan and allocate QA resources across projects to meet deadlines effectively
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team reviews to support growth and team alignment
  

• Define and implement QA processes, frameworks, and best practices for manual and automated testing
• Oversee the development of end-to-end testing strategies using Serenity BDD, Playwright, and Cucumber
• Drive automation coverage for regression, functional, and performance testing
  

• Work with our Head of Product, VP of Engineering, developers, and DevOps to integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure robust API testing using Cucumber and create meaningful, reusable test scenarios
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and critical issues
  

• Define and track quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing strategies
• Provide regular QA progress and risk reports to stakeholders
• Continuously evaluate tools and frameworks for process optimisation
  

• Experience: 5+ years in QA, including 2+ years in a leadership role
• Testing Tools: Proficiency in Serenity BDD, Playwright, and Cucumber
• Automation Expertise: Proven experience implementing automated test frameworks
• CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• Programming: Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar language
  

• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, ECS, or S3
• Experience in mobile testing for React Native and Expo applications
• Familiarity with hospitality or F&B tech platforms
