Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Job Overview:

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with our diverse teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This includes leading the creation and implementation of automated test frameworks, guiding team members in quality practices, and collaborating across functions to integrate quality at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Design, develop, and implement automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute a variety of testing activities, including manual testing, performance testing, database testing, and API testing, to ensure product quality.
  • Manage and maintain test data and environments to support reliable and efficient testing efforts.
  • Act as the QA lead within project teams, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality.
  • Provide insightful analysis and reporting of QA metrics, sharing findings with key stakeholders.
  • Champion best practices for software quality, ensuring alignment with company values and methodologies.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing and mentoring, helping less experienced team members improve their skills and adopt best practices.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts, contribute to thought leadership content, and support the Fabric brand through various channels.

Requirements:




  • At least 7-8 years of experience in QA with a focus on automation testing, proven expertise in QA methodologies
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming and experience with at least one programming language.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of modern open-source automation tools, including Playwright, Cypress, WebDriver, Appium, and Gatling.
  • Strong experience in API testing, with a focus on automated testing frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating tests into these workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how they integrate with testing efforts.
  • Proficiency with SQL and database testing techniques.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of testing web services, especially with XML, JSON, and tools like Postman.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Scrum methodologies.
  • A passion for mentoring and developing others on the team.
