Your role

In this position as Senior Head of Finance, you’ll be the key driver of our financial structure and control in a rapidly evolving, high-volume environment. You’ll be responsible for leading and optimizing the company’s full financial operation.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Planning & Forecasting. Develop and maintain budgeting processes, P&L management, and long-term financial projections
• Liquidity Oversight. Ensure effective monitoring of cash flow and reserves
• Expense Management. Identify cost inefficiencies, optimize vendor agreements, and oversee procurement logic
• Payment Operations. Ensure clarity in payouts and multi-currency flows, particularly across card processors
• Compliance & Fiscal Oversight. Coordinate KYC/AML, VAT and collaborate closely with our internal accountant
• Internal Reporting. Translate data into actionable insights for the leadership team
• Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work with product, tech, and marketing to support better budget visibility and accountability
• Tooling & Systems. Lead improvements in dashboards, ERP systems, and finance-related tooling

What We are looking for

Essentials:

• Full professional fluency in Italian and English
• At least 8 years of experience in finance, including 2–4 in leadership roles
• Strong exposure to fintech, trading, gambling, or payment operations
• Experience in early-stage or growth-stage companies where systems had to be built or fixed
• Deep understanding of FX, reconciliation, payouts, and vendor cost structure
• Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced environment with limited structure

Nice to Have:

• Background in tax, audit, or regulatory compliance
• Experience designing or implementing financial dashboards or ERP systems
• Exposure to multi-country operations
