The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for implementing the industrial security program and ensuring company and customer security requirements are met. The successful candidate will interface with all levels of Omnissa Federal personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254) and Program Classification Guides. The position requires a self-motivated candidate that is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. The candidate will be required to conduct security annual self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements. The FSO must possess the confidence to make critical security decisions concerning high value contracts and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to government facilities or information. The FSO will also serve as the ITPSO for Omnissa Federal and CSSO for IC agencies. The FSO will play a key role in driving the Omnissa Federal Strategy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate the sponsorship, application, and adjudication of Omnissa Federal’s Facility Clearance
Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards
Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, NBIS/eApp, NCAISS/NISS, ACCS, and SWFT
Be able to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations, as well as provide guidance to employees with regards to policies as applicable
Ensure written security procedures are documented when required by DCSA
Ensure personnel security clearance eligibility and access records are adequately maintained in the system of record in accordance with NISPOM
Prepare, issue, and maintain DD254s
Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, visit certs, etc.
Process necessary badges, government furnished equipment (GFEs) and certifications for USG facilities
Experience developing, conducting, and tracking initial security briefings, refresher briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and contract specific trainings (i.e. OPSEC), as required
Establish and execute an insider threat program to gather, integrate, and report relevant and available information indicative of a potential or actual insider threat
Ensure the contractors insider threat program working group and all other cleared employees complete yearly required insider threat training
Integrate the FSO role and security consciousness into all aspects of Federal business, including contract negotiations, business development, strategic GTM initiatives. Provide deep knowledge of federal procurement (GSA Schedules, GWACs, BPAs, OTAs)
Provide a level of clarity and visibility back to leadership from the Government field team. Create that strategic arm to ensure consideration of Federal nuance when developing and creating new offerings.
Uncover and enable field on Government centric sales best practices and competitive differentiators for each respective solution. Sales methodology and positioning of products
Vetting/incubating new Government product/services launches with Marketing, Product Management, alliances and the field:

Horizon 8 and Ws1 on Sovereign Cloud (DISA, Cylogic, other Gov Clouds both Domestic and International…)

Horizon on Nutanix
Partner with Marketing/Product Marketing to refine demand gen and compete programs and sales plays; drive consistent execution of pipeline progression across Government account base. Help streamline GTM approach for Gov business. Open communication to the market.
Enable and equip the Sales team to properly interact with both niche and generalized government partners through our Partner and Alliances teams. Assist in cadences with key partnerships to advance business initiatives.
Assist the AEs up-sell and cross-sell within installed Government accounts and attach to the right persona's including Executive Laddering and Sponsorship.
Drive early adopter pilots on new and emerging Government focused technologies and provide feedback back to the business.
Partner with, Build and maintain relationships with system integrators, GSA Schedule holders, to expand sales opportunity and pipeline.
Work with Global Geo leadership to expand mainstream key solutions once mature. Potential to expand responsibilities to outside of US Gov and incorporate international considerations
Attend Public Sector conferences, trade shows and partner events and network with new potential partners and customers

Current Top Secret/SCI Eligibility security clearance
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience with industrial security
Successful completion of the following CDSE courses: FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities (IS020.CU), Identifying and Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (DS-IF101.06), Insider Threat Awareness (INT101.06), Establishing an Insider Threat Program for your Organization (INT122.16)
Experience implementing NISPOM requirements
Significant experience with DISS
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Professional Certifications/Affiliations with Industrial Security Groups (NCMS, ISAC, regional -ISACs, etc)
