Job description
Role: AI/ML Engineer
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $80.41-$84.24
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML development
- Hands-on coding in Python
- Rapid prototyping of LLM-powered applications (e.g., chatbots, summarization tools, agents)
- Prompt engineering and tuning strategies
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Embeddings and vector search (e.g., using Vertex AI)
- Fine-tuning or adapting pre-trained models
- POC development with GCP-hosted models
- Ability to evaluate LLM outputs for relevance, factuality, and hallucination risks
- Familiarity with human-in-the-loop (HITL) feedback loops
- Experience applying guardrails (e.g., content filtering, grounding techniques)
Cloud & Tools Experience:
- GCP-native services: Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM
- Languages & Tools: Python, Jupyter, Git, Docker, REST APIs
- AI Frameworks: LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow
- GCP AI Tools: Vertex AI (Model Garden, PaLM API, Pipelines, Prediction Endpoints), BigQuery ML (for light use)
