Position: Senior Data Analyst - PBM - REMOTE Location: Remote Job Id: 5753 # of Openings: 1

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of SQL or similar database programming experience
  • At least one year experience with pharmacy or medical claims

PURPOSE: The Senior Analyst will build and maintain pharmacy reporting for key Amwins Rx pharmacy benefit management (PBM) initiatives. Examples of these initiatives include pharmacy claims pricing validation, rebate reporting, regulatory support, and analytics process improvement. They will work closely with other team members to collaborate and support team processes. They will partner with key business stakeholders to ensure end-to-end processes are built accurately and maintained.

Knowledge, Experience, And Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in pharmacy benefit management, health insurance, or related industry
  • Experience with pharmacy or healthcare claims data
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Intermediate to expert in SQL, SAS, R, Python, or other database languages
  • Intermediate to expert in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar tool, preferred
  • Knowledge of health insurance and PBM industry pricing practices, preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical drug information or manufacturer rebates, preferred
