As an Account Director for Maven, your main objective is to cultivate and foster our client relationships by establishing and growing a book of business (and of course, make placements!). Your goal is to learn our clients’ hiring needs by conducting thorough intakes to better understand their company culture, organizational structure, and search pain points. You will be the liaison between our clients and our internal recruiting team as you manage job orders from start to placement. The ideal candidate has a passion for recruiting and thrives in a sales environment.
Role: Account Director (full-time position)
Location: Remote, working Pacific Time Hours
Compensation: Base + Uncapped Commission
Account Director Responsibilities
Develop New Business: Prospect through cold calls, emails, InMails, and building a strong referral network to identify and cultivate leads that convert into job requisitions.
Manage Leads: Handle inbound leads from Maven’s website and referral network, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (CEOs, Founders, CFOs, Heads of Recruiting) while educating them on Maven’s recruiting services.
Guide the Hiring Process: Coach clients through the search process, providing feedback and direction as needed to drive successful placements.
Close Deals: Negotiate contract terms and lead closing conversations with clients.
Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently meet or exceed weekly activity and performance targets, proactively identifying ways to improve individual results.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to align on priorities, share pipeline updates, and strategize on key projects and client searches.
