WCS Healthcare is currently looking for a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,976 per week for this role.

Job Function

Night Shift.
12x4.
Prepares, administers (orally, subcutaneously, or through an IV), and records prescribed medications.
Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with nursing policies.
Educates patients on surgical procedures and records medical information and vital signs.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
Provides patient care by implementing treatment plans and ensuring safety and comfort during recovery.

Job Requirements

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a BSN.
Current RN license for the state of New York.
2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
Tele experience required.
