As an Implementation Consultant you are the support person for building a strong relationship with customers and helping them realize their vision within their industry. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical leadership skills, and process improvement skills. As part of the Services Delivery team, you will work with Solution Architects, Infrastructure Architects, Implementation Consultants, Systems Engineers, Project Managers, the customer’s subject matter experts (SMEs) and end users to ensure project and customer adoption success.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and demonstrate how Siemens solutions will impact and integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, value and impact.
- Work under the direction of a mentor to learn and understand the Siemens delivery framework of Industry Best Practices and Template solutions.
- Support the architectural design area of product domain solutions to address the customers’ business requirements.
- Understand customers’ goals and objectives to support change initiatives are needed for the customer to be more efficient and productive.
- Understand business requirements to help support specific Siemens solutions, applications or process designs for complex projects.
- Provide support for project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule and quality.
- Document system specifications by consulting with users, management, and stakeholders.
- Work within a team to estimate and plan and schedule deliverables and tasks.
- Document functional and integration adoption plans and perform system testing activities.
- Communicate project processes by interacting with the customer to support customer expectations and support customer adoption.
- Provide support for technical recommendations and implement overall system design.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Software, etc.), Computer Science or other science and technology programs, or equivalent years of relevant experience (5+ years) in design, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, data management
- Experience and knowledge of Siemens solutions and products.
- Experience working with a team of consultants in support of Siemens products.
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at various levels throughout an organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
Travel:
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred:
- Candidate located in proximity to a major US Navy shipyard.
Security Clearance:
- Candidate must be US citizen and have the ability to obtain and/or maintain a US federal agency security clearance.

- The salary range for this position is $79,600.00 to $159,200.00. An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
