Responsibilities
Partner with account managers and capture teams to develop winning pricing strategies for company growth.
Evaluate requests for proposals and provide pricing solutions, strategies, and competitive assessments.
Develop cost models and narratives for various contract types in response to requests for proposals.
Lead pricing reviews and present financials to all levels of management.
Collaborate with business functions (Contracts, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, Business Development) to ensure compliance and competitive pricing.
Manage multiple pricing submissions within tight proposal schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal cost estimating systems, proposal requirements, and government regulations.
Prepare files for audit and support audit requirements.
Engage with team members on collaboration, knowledge sharing and reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
8-10 years of relevant pricing experience in government contracting.
Proficiency in MS Office Excel for developing models and using advanced formulas.
Strong organizational, verbal, written, and analytical skills.
Ability to advise on government contracting regulations, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS.
Experience with the application and limitations of various contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP) and developing price-to-win analysis.
A personal drive for teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement.
Pay Transparency Statement
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $89,800.00/Yr. - USD $150,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
