A nationally recognized engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support transmission infrastructure projects across the U.S.

This role includes the structural design and analysis of high-voltage transmission systems and related infrastructure. The position requires in-office work 3 days per week at any of the firm's U.S. office locations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and analyze transmission structures and foundations.

Perform detailed structural calculations in accordance with industry standards.

Provide technical leadership on project teams and support schedule, budget, and quality goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.

Maintain strong client communication and contribute to business development efforts when needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering.

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Proficiency in PLS-CADD is required.

5 years of experience in structural engineering.

Strong experience with steel and concrete design, including use of 3D modeling and analysis tools.

Ideal Candidate

5 years of structural engineering experience on overhead transmission lines using PLS-CADD and it will be at a consulting company rather than a utility.
