Job description: REMOTE OFFICE

Position(s) are open across several prime locations, includingBoston, East Brunswick, Hartford, Indianapolis, Miami, New York, Newark, Philadelphia, Stamford, Trenton, Washington, DC, and Wilmington.

Key Responsibilities

Patent Preparation and Prosecution:

  • Draft, file, and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications with meticulous attention to detail and strategic insight.
  • Conduct patentability analyses and provide clear recommendations to clients.

Client Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their technologies, goals, and business strategies.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, enforceable patent claims.

Portfolio Management And Strategy

  • Develop and implement intellectual property strategies tailored to each clients needs.
  • Manage and oversee clients patent portfolios to ensure robust protection of their innovations.

Legal Support

  • Provide support for IP-related litigation, due diligence, freedom-to-operate analysis, and opinion work as needed.

Qualifications: Qualifications:

Experience

  • 25 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications, with a strong focus onmechanical, electrical, and/or software-related technologies. AI BigLaw or major firm background is highlydesired

Educational Background

  • Superior academic credentials in law.
  • A technical degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Licensing

  • Admission to a state bar (required).
  • Registration to practice before theU.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)is required.
