To strengthen our Life Science team, we are looking for a committed person for a field service role as a:
Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for Biodecontamination
As a Field Service Technician (m/f/d) for cleanrooms and biodecontamination, you will begin your assignments from our external warehouse in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf (near Berlin) or near Würzburg and travel across Germany, and occasionally throughout Europe, to serve our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Your Profile:
Successfully completed training/ apprenticeship as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician, communications technician, or a comparable qualification with electrical knowledge
Initial experience as a service technician is desirable
Service-oriented with a friendly demeanor
Quick comprehension and good time management
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to travel within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, including overnight stays and occasional weekend/ night shifts
Your Responsibilties:
Advising customers on biodecontamination technologies, safety aspects, and microbiological requirements
Supporting the planning and coordination of decontamination service projects
Performing, installing, and following up on decontamination services for pharmaceutical and biotech clients (e.g., cleanroom fumigation)
Identifying additional service needs during customer visits
Ensuring compliance with STERIS safety and quality standards
Maintaining and calibrating equipment
Starting assignments from our Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf warehouse or home office, with 80–100% travel in the DACH region
