This is a fantastic opportunity for a project manager looking to work in a well-established company.
They are highly respected, established group proudly delivering some of Melbourne's most significant property development projects. They are currently seeking a driven, thorough Project Manager to be based in Melbourne. You will be actively involved in significant health, and laboratory projects in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
You will be reporting to the Director, the role is for a project manager to deliver strategy, provide guidance across contracting partnerships, procurement, contract management and to provide advice and guidance to the client.
About The Role
This role involves supporting various project stages, including but not limited to:
Design Management
Tender Phase - preparing documents, assisting assessments, and finalising details
Construction - overseeing works, managing claims, reporting, and contract admin
General Project Administration
Contract Administration & Superintendence
Clear and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Team collaboration with colleagues and managers
Design development and project delivery
Stakeholder engagement and management
About You:
Tertiary qualification in engineering, construction, or architecture
4-7+ years of project management
Complex, Technical projects essential
Strong team player with the ability to work independently
Experience in health or lab sector projects is a must
Background in architecture, engineering, or quantity surveying is ideal
Experience in front-end project delivery is essential
Confident working with design teams, tenders, procurement, and contracts
High attention to detail and strong organisation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Proven problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
Open to candidates with contract admin experience from the builder’s side
