Position Overview
The PLL is seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our Ticket Sales team for the 2025 summer season. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in the sports industry while contributing directly to the league’s ticketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in prospecting new business opportunities, including identifying potential group buyers, corporate partners, and local organizations.
Support outreach to smaller groups and community organizations to assess interest and facilitate ticket sales for tour events.
Contribute to ticket sales marketing projects, including campaign research, data analysis, and creative brainstorming.
Provide assistance to inside sales representatives and account executives on various administrative and sales-related tasks.
Maintain organized and updated lead lists, activity tracking, and follow-up communications.
Qualifications
Pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable making outbound calls and writing professional emails.
Proactive, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Passion for sports and a desire to learn the ins and outs of professional sports ticketing.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or ticketing platforms is a plus, but not required.
