Position Overview

Join the Premier Lacrosse League's Creator Network as a Freelance Videographer capturing the dynamic action and behind-the-scenes moments of professional lacrosse. We're seeking skilled visual storytellers who can create compelling content showcasing the athleticism, personality, and culture of the PLL. The Freelance Videographer position is strictly just content capture and will not require you to edit the content as well. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the fastest growing professional sports league in North America while building your portfolio with high-quality professional sports content.

Qualifications

  • Experience shooting fast-paced sports, with a portfolio demonstrating your videography skills
  • Understanding of lacrosse or willingness to quickly learn the sport's nuances
  • Equipment suitable for professional sports videography
  • Understanding social media trends

Requirements

  • Must be LOCAL to one of the following cities
    • New York City
    • Long Island, NY
    • Baltimore or D.C.
    • Philadelphia
    • Denver
    • Salt Lake City
    • Boston
  • Minimum 2-3 years of videography experience, preferably in sports
  • Understanding of various audio capture asks
  • Strong understanding of composition and framing for sports action
  • Knowledge of proper exposure, white balance, and color settings
  • Previous work with lacrosse is a plus
Compensation

  • $25/hr, 6 hours a week
  • Based on the candidate’s experience, seniority, and location
  • This is a contractor position, not a full-time position
