Title: Medical Records Clerk

Location:  This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Work Shift: Monday – Friday 7am-4pm CST

The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for maintaining patient files, responds to requests for medical records and performs clerical activities in support of the medical records department.


How you will make an impact:

  • Protect the security and integrity of medical records to ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained in compliance with company policies and federal, state and local regulations.
  • Maintains patient files and retrieves files for scheduled appointments
  • Responds to requests for medical records; processes letters and report.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1 year related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.


Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Experience working in a healthcare office setting is preferred.
  • Experience working with healthcare insurance is preferred.
