The Regional Sales Manager India – South & East is responsible for leading sales teams and driving revenue within the defined region. This position will be instrumental in contributing towards strategic growth in the region along with employee engagement.
This position reports to the General Manager – India and is part of the Sales function located in Hyderabad and will be a remote role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Drive the growth and expansion of sales revenue and profit margins by driving regional plans and high levels of effective team customer activity; and therefore, increasing market share, competitive differentiation, and profitable growth for HemoCue in the southern and eastern part of India
Understand and analyze market and competitive dynamics; develop commercial strategies and plans that capitalize on growth opportunities. Develop and execute a new customer acquisition strategy.
Attract, retain, coach, and develop world-class commercial talent to execute the commercial strategy. Ensure that the Commercial team continuously enhances their product knowledge and commercial capabilities to best support our customers.
Coach and train first time people managers on team management basics, quick on-field decision making, effective partnering with marketing and service teams.
Build and manage professional relationships with customers, channel partners, KOL’s and other stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of their needs to drive commercial opportunities
Identify, onboard, and effectively manage channel partners. Continuously enhance the technical knowledge and commercial capabilities of our channel partners to ensure accountability, insights, revenue achievement and the best support to our end customers
Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to ensure the successful launch of new and focus products.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
Educational qualification – Bachelor/master’s in science or MBA equivalent with a functional background that has relevant experience of the Healthcare & Diagnostics landscape in the Indian market with a minimum of 10 years sales experience in healthcare/medical devices industry
At least 3 years’ proven experience in leading a team
Strong understanding of the medical devices market, including Hematology and Diabetes in public health, blood banks, hospitals and primary care
Interpersonal skills - Ability to energize, develop, build rapport, collaborate, and influence at all levels within an organization.
