Job description

Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Fully Remote (South africa)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (UK Time)
Salary: R60,000 – R75,000 per month

Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Head of Finance to join their expanding team. This is a pivotal role that demands expertise in financial strategy, reporting, compliance, and cross-border operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial oversight, lead financial planning, and ensure robust financial controls are in place as the company scales, particularly into the Middle Eastern market.

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and forecasts.

  • Deliver actionable financial insights to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making and long-term planning.

  • Drive financial controls and process optimisation, implementing automation and ensuring audit readiness.

  • Manage all budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and liquidity needs.

  • Handle VAT submissions and ensure tax compliance across all operating regions.

  • Collaborate with local and international banks, auditors, and partners to streamline financial operations.

  • Support international expansion efforts by providing robust financial modeling and scenario analysis, particularly for Saudi Arabia market entry.



Requirements


  • 10–15 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within luxury, automotive, or high-growth environments

  • Strong knowledge of international tax and compliance frameworks

  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

  • Experience working with accounting software such as Xero

  • Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
