Make an Impact

Trillium Health Resources is a Tailored Plan and Managed Care Organization (MCO) that manages serious mental health, substance use, traumatic brain injury, and intellectual/developmental disability services in North Carolina. Serving in 46 counties, we help individuals and their families strengthen well-being and build foundations for a healthy life.

Join our team as we empower others to live their best lives by providing access to quality healthcare. We offer a challenging, engaging work environment where staff take home more than a paycheck. Every day, we see the results of our dedication – in the smiles of children on our accessible playgrounds and in the pride on the face of an adult cooking a meal for the first time. Working at Trillium Health Resources is more than just a job; it is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the communities we serve.

At Trillium, we know that empowering others begins with supporting and developing our team. That’s why we offer competitive benefits and work-from-home flexibility so that our employees thrive outside of the office. We’re also committed to building a diverse, inclusive culture where all employees have the potential to grow professionally and personally.

What We’re Looking For

This position provides non-clinical administrative support to network providers, staff, community stakeholders, state and local entities, and/or other managed care organizations. This position requires significant knowledge in Trillium Health Resources procedures, policies, workflows and the Trillium Provider Manual. Primary job duties and responsibilities are to support network providers with accuracy and promptness and provide effective and efficient customer service. This support can vary in forms such as, but not limited to, telephonic support and/or electronic mail (email) through the Provider Support Service Line. Provider Support Service Specialist answers inbound calls and assists callers by connecting them to the appropriate party, sharing information, providing technical assistance, and answering questions. The Provider Support Service Line may often be the first interaction with the organization; therefore, the Provider Support Service Specialist must respond to the person’s needs in a professional service-oriented manner and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by triaging the emails and calls, and ensuring the questions, concerns, or issues get directed or transferred to the appropriate Trillium unit or department. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of others, apply today!

On a typical day, you might:

  • Answer inbound calls for a call center, focusing on customer service.
  • Resolving caller’s questions, concerns, inquiries and complaints. Complete all documentation.
  • Perform general clerical work such as, but not limited to, scheduling meetings and/or events, conduct research and report findings, and document meeting minutes.
