As a Recruiter and Events Manager you'll be a key-player helping us fulfill the recruitment needs of Henley & Partners in the Americas region. The selected candidate will be coordinating and organizing the recruitment of all Client Advisors and other positions for the offices and departments of the group in the Americas. This position will have a split of 70% recruitment and 30% event planning for the Americas' offices. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to define the prerequisites for open positions.
  • Advertise open positions to external networks.
  • Source possible applicants who are a good fit for open positions by identifying those who satisfy the job requirements and then getting in touch with them about openings.
  • Keep track of possible candidates online and interact with possible recruits on various social media.
  • Maintain a presence on social media for the company’s recruitment and advertising needs.
  • Ask for referrals from current employees, acquaintances and industry professionals.
  • Conduct benchmark research on compensation and benefits for various positions.
  • Take ownership of the candidate experience by managing every step of the hiring process.
  • Conduct initial zoom video interviews to screen candidates and shortlist suitable candidates accordingly. 
  • Meet with applicants and conduct interviews to construct a candidate profile to be presented to the hiring manager.
  • Coordinate with the HR Representative and hiring manager when needed.
  • Develop and maintain a Candidate Pool to keep track of suitable possible candidates for future roles.
  • Take the lead on special projects as assigned, with a strong emphasis on event planning alongside core recruiting duties.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of direct experience as a recruiter, headhunter or similar. 
  • Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with international selection processes.
  • Knowledge of web marketing and social media.
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Active listening skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong sales and marketing skills.
  • Excellent interviewing skills.

The role is remote, however, we are only accepting candidates that are based in Panama.
